Description
In the last couple of years data protection has become increasingly important. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), companies need to comply with more stringent privacy rules than before. This is especially relevant for finance professionals since they typically deal with large quantities of personal data, including sensitive personal data. In view of the possible fines of up to EUR 20 million or 4% of the annual worldwide turnover of a company, it is important for any organization that they are fully aware of all the privacy requirements that apply in The Netherlands. The full day course ‘Privacy Law for Finance Professionals’, provides an overview of the current requirements companies must comply with. Via short in-class cases that are relevant for finance professionals, participants learn how to apply the various legal concepts themselves.
